Ahmed Ibrahim FRCS PhD

Mr. Ibrahim trained at St Bartholomew's and The Royal London hospitals in London, UK. Mr Ibrahim is currently a consultant spinal neurosurgeon at Imperial College Healthcare Trust and a senior lecturer at Imperial College London. Mr Ibrahim is also a clinical director of spinal research laboratory based at UCL, Institute of Neurology, Queen Square, London.

Mr Ibrahim completed spinal fellowship training at Toronto Western Hospital, Toronto, under Professor Fehlings, Dr Lewis, and Dr Rampersaud. Mr Ibrahim was selected CSRS-EU travelling fellowship to North America.

Mr Ibrahim has established advanced minimally invasive complex surgery in his unit and runs NHS complex spine practice.

Mr Ibrahim is an active academic with his laboratory leading research on the use of stem cells in the treatment of spinal cord injury and neurological dysfunction.

Mr Ibrahim has been awarded numerous prestigious prizes, including from the Congress of neurological surgeons/American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the North American Cervical Spine Research Society. Mr Ibrahim won scholarships from the Royal College of England and HCA in recognition of his achievements.

Mr Ibrahim has been elected as Board Member of the Cervical Spine Research Society-EU. He is an active member of the British Spine Surgeons Association and the Society of British Neurological Surgeons.
